12 Jul 2008 - Penistone Carry-A-Bag Launch Day
This is the day shops will put up their 'Please carry a bag in Penistone' signs and get started on their new less plastic bags ideas (for more information about what they are going to do, see the Penistone Carry-A-Bag website). There will also be a children's quiz trail, information, street entertainment, a bag-making workshop and a free raffle ticket to anyone spotted with a fabric carrier by our roving turtle!
