19 Oct 2007 - Mick Clapham MP signs up to Climate Bill amendments

Members of Penistone FoE have been collecting postcards in support of amendments to the Climate Change Bill, which they presented to Mick Clapham MP. They showed him their flooding display and were dressed as mermaids to emphasise the point about flooding in Barnsley.

The amendments to the Bill which Friends of the Earth think are neccessary are:
- Including international aviation and shipping
- Changing the target for reduction in greenhouse gases from 60% to 80%
- Making the targets annual, not 5 yearly
