Climate Change Question Time
The Climate Change Question Time took place on 26th November 2008, at St. Andrews Church, Penistone.
Sixty five people turned up to ask our panel of experts and sceptics their Climate Change questions. The evening was a great success, with discussions going on for long after the formal part had finished - our speakers had trouble getting away!
The guest panel included:
Chris Stamper
Chris is a retired lecturer in geography and environmental science. He believes the climate is changing but that it has natural causes.
Peter Roderick
Peter is the co-director of the Climate Justice Programme. He works to combat Climate Change using international laws - for example, he has sued the Nigerian government for oil flaring.
Richard Starkey
Richard works at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change in Manchester. The Tyndall Centre produces research into Climate Change and recommends action to reduce the effects of Climate Change as well as action we can take to adapt to it.
Rev Brian Jenner - Chair
